Today, we revisited DollarPerHead.com, which we first reviewed in 2019. We had good impressions of its modern website. However, they claimed to be the only “true” multi-language pay-per-head provider in Costa Rica, offering support and services in English, Spanish, Vietnamese, and Chinese.

We disagree with their claim because some Costa Rica-based PPH providers we previously reviewed also have these features.  For this review, we looked past that and checked out what the PPH provider offers.

Dollar Per Head is an independent pay-per-head provider that offers professional services to bookies worldwide. It provides excellent facilities, experienced line managers, reliable sports betting software, and a dedicated agent support team. In addition, it promises to support, protect, and boost profitability for all its customers.

In our first DollarPerHead.com review, we raved about its low price of $1 per head, which made up for any shortcomings. However, today is a different story as they increased their price per head. The rate of their bookie pay per head service is $5 per head. We think that the price increase was justified because they improved many of their PPH services. 

We wish they had automated the registration process so that no human intervention was needed. There are two ways to register for an account with DollarPerHead.com: via the online form or by phone. We opted for the first option. However, we encountered an error after submitting the online form.

Thus, we used the site’s live chat feature and received demo account details. Using the demo accounts, we can test the agent site and the sportsbook. In addition, the customer service representative helped us create our PPH account.

Their software looks ultramodern and gives off a young, flashy, but professional vibe. While the site’s looks are impressive, its functionality is pretty average. Whatever you needed to do with your sportsbook, you could have done it using any other bookie pay per head service.

We love that the sportsbook software allows you to configure the features you want your players to use. So, if you are on a tight budget, you can stick to the basic package that includes the sportsbook, horse racebook, and digital casino. Of course, this means fewer features. You must change or add to the package if you want to add more.

The software’s player management tools allow you to manage player accounts, track wagers, and monitor betting activity effortlessly. You can set custom limits, manage bonuses and promotions, and generate detailed reports to stay on top of your players’ performance. Here are some player management features that we liked from Dollar Per Head:

• Limit Profiles – You can set a player’s maximum wager in your sportsbook. You can set limits on individual sports or as a whole. In addition, you can set a uniform maximum wager for all players under a specific agent.
• Player Profile – The Free Play settings are in the Player Profile section. There, you can change how many free plays for each player. In addition, you can adjust settings for Straight Bets, Parlays, and Teasers.

The site offers excellent services at a flat rate of $5 per head. However, they need to make their rate more transparent because some sections of their website indicate that their rate is $1 per player. Based on our conversation with their staff, the $1 per head rate is only for the first two weeks. After that, they will collect $5 per active player.

Their basic package includes the sportsbook, racebook, and digital casino. They also have a secure network, and there have been no reports of security issues or downtime so far.

While their site looks more modern than others, their PPH services are pretty standard for a pay-per-head software provider. On a positive note, they are okay to use. They are not the best in the industry, but they are not bad either.
